Crown Prince, Kazakhstan’s president hold talks in Jeddah

JEDDAH — Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman received on Saturday at the Royal Court at Al-Salam palace in Jeddah the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

An official reception ceremony was held for Kazakhstan’s president.

The Crown Prince and Kazakhstan’s president held a session of official talks, during which they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and aspects of cooperation in various fields, in addition to reviewing a number of issues of common interest.



The session was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Energy; Prince Abdullah bin Bandar, Minister of the National Guard; Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

It was also attended by the Minister of State, Cabinet's Member and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban; the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Abdurrahman Al-Fadhli (the accompanying minister); the Governor of the Public Investment Fund, Yasir Al-Rumayyan and the Acting Chargé affairs at Saudi Arabia's Embassy in Kazakhstan, Hussein Al-Mahmadi.

From the Kazakh side, the session of the official talks was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mukhtar Tleuberdi; the First Deputy Chief of the Presidential Office Timur Suleimenov; the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce and Integration Bakhyt Sultanov; the Deputy Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Special Representative of the President for International Cooperation Erzhan Kazykhan; the Minister of Energy Bulat Akshulakov; the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Wealth Fund (Samruk-Kazyna) Almasadam Satkaliev; the Kazakh Ambassador to the Kingdom Berek Arin and a number of officials. — SPA
