JEDDAH — The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz has sent a cable of congratulation to King Charles III on his accession to the UK throne of Great Britain and Northern Ireleand.

In his cable, the King expressed pleasure of King Charles III's accession to the United Kingdom throne of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, wishing him success.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also expressed his best felicitations and good wishes to King Charles III, praising the status of the ties binding the two countries, and confirmed his keenness on further consolidating bilateral cooperation of the two countries and their friendly peoples.

King Salman wished the King of Great Britain and Northern Ireland good and continuous health and his friendly people steady progress and prosperity.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister, also sent a similar cable of congratulations to King Charles III.

The Crown Prince expressed his sincere felicitations to King Charles, wishing him every success and his friendly country steady progress and prosperity. — SPA
