Global AI Summit reflects Saudi Arabia’s interest in utilizing technology to serve society: Al-Youssef

RIYADH — President of the Board of Grievances and President of the Administrative Judiciary Council Dr. Khaled Al-Youssef has praised Riyadh’s efforts in hosting the 2nd Global AI Summit under the theme “Artificial Intelligence for the Good of Humanity”.

Attending the summit, he said that the patronage by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Premier and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA), of the summit stresses the importance of this global event and the leadership’s keenness to contribute to hosting, organizing and supporting all international events and activities.

He said Saudi Arabia attaches great importance to digital technology and affiliated sciences and machines, which can be seen in Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s chairmanship of SDAIA's Board of Directors as it represents the main pillar of all sectors and state projects toward reaching a future with higher growth and smartness rates.

Al-Youssef also commended the big support the administrative judiciary receives in digitalizing judicial data.

He concluded his speech praising the summit’s announcement of establishing a global platform for leaders and talented people in AI, supporting its projects, and stimulating research and science activities in the branches of this important science. — SPA
