RIYADH — The Musaned portal, under the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD), announced that the resumption of recruitment from the Philippines to Saudi Arabia would start from Nov. 7.
Musaned stated that people could now apply for a domestic worker visa from the Philippines through the beneficiary's account on Musaned portal, if recruitment controls are in place, while confirming that the upper limit for visas will be applied in the event of the resumption of recruitment from the Philippines.
Visa fees will also not be refunded if used, Musaned said, indicating that the beneficiary can view the status of the visa through his personal account in Musaned.
In the event that the beneficiary wishes to issue an alternative visa, it is required that the worker be deported during the trial period allowed by law, which is 90 days from arrival, in addition to the fact that the status of the worker must be (final exit) in Absher. It is a must not exceed the upper limit of legally permitted visas.
It is worth mentioning that the Musaned program provides the (Maarofa) service that enables people to recruit a selected domestic worker of their choice, as it seeks to save the time spent in the recruitment process and the search for the right domestic worker.
The Maarofa service is characterized by taking a shorter period than the normal recruitment, as it takes a maximum period of 90 days, in addition to that it also allows people to bring in a domestic worker at a specific and low cost.
