Shoura Council’s panel discusses cooperation with Bavarian delegation

RIYADH — Shoura Council’s Saudi-German Parliamentary Friendship Committee, headed by Hazza Bin Bakr Al-Qahtani, met with a delegation representing the Bavarian Industry Association, Germany, in Riyadh Monday, in the presence of German Ambassador Dieter Lamle.

Al-Qahtani stressed the need for continuous communication between the two countries in all fields, to enhance joint cooperation and increase coordination at all levels.

The German delegation expressed its happiness to visit the Kingdom and the Shoura Council, praising the developments that the Kingdom is witnessing in various fields and the future plans that it aspires to implement.

During the meeting, in which several council members participated, the two sides also discussed many issues and developments in the international arena.

The Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Committees aim to develop and strengthen ties of friendship and communication between the council and parliaments in other countries in a way that enhances the Kingdom’s foreign relations.

It also hopes to achieve greater communication and coordination in various parliamentary forums at the regional and international levels. — SPA
