3 economic entities join hands to transform Makkah and Madinah into Isalmic business hubs

MAKKAH — Three economic entities will join hands to transform Makkah and Al-Madinah into a center of attraction for financial and business activities in the Islamic world.

Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Madinah Chamber and the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture will sign a partnership agreement in a ceremony on Wednesday sponsored by Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi with the presence of representatives of Islamic countries and diplomats.

The agreement aims to invest in the sacred status of the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah in the world and transforming them into a hub of attraction for business activities.

Abdullah Saleh Kamel, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), said that the agreement aims to provide logistical support on the ground in both holy cities, support investment in them and provide all the necessary capabilities to raise the efficiency of the investment environment.

“We want to provide a strong network of international relations to continuously provide various success partners, and providing permanent international tools to promote all partnership outputs globally.”

“This partnership will provide the two holy cities and business sectors with a great impetus through a group of tracks represented in exhibitions, forums, and dialogues with decision-makers from the Islamic world, the visits of business delegations, in addition to the course research, and training,” he added.
