JEDDAH —
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan called for stopping all forms of military escalation in Sudan during two phone conversations with Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council leaders.

Prince Faisal talked by phone on Sunday with the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan and the Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council Gen. Mohammad Hamdan Dagalo.

During the calls, they discussed the current situation in Sudan. The Saudi minister affirmed the Kingdom's call for calm, prioritizing the national interest to preserves the capabilities and gains of Sudan and its people.

During Prince Faisal’s talks with the two parties, he stressed the importance of returning to the framework agreement, which guarantees security and stability for Sudan and its people.
