RIYADH — UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed has praised Saudi Arabia for its crucial role in evacuating Emirati and other foreign citizens from Sudan to their country during a phone call with Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan.

Sheikh Abdullah also expressed his gratitude to the Saudi minister for their significant efforts in ensuring the safe evacuation processes.

The two ministers discussed international efforts to address the situation in Sudan and appropriate ways to prevent escalation and violence while protecting civilians. — SG
