RIYADH — Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program has announced it will soon launch the preparatory program for scholarships in space majors.

The program aims in supporting and empowering Saudi men and women to obtain a university admission from the best global universities specialized in the field of space.

This comes in line with the aspirations of Saudi Arabia in this field. It also coincides with the conclusion of the scientific mission of Saudi astronauts Rayyanah Barnawi and Ali Al Qarni in the International Space Station (ISS).

The scientific mission has witnessed several achievements, as the Saudi astronauts were able to successfully conduct various experiments and research that will benefit people.

It is worth mentioning that the Saudi Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) has worked in cooperation with Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program to diversify specializations in the field of space to empower the national cadres, as it has launched earlier several tracks and various majors.

The most prominent space majors provided by Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program includes the Astronomy and Space Sciences; Aerospace Engineering; Astrophysics; General Relativity Physics and Cosmology; Vehicle Design & Engineering; Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering; and Space Engineering.
