LUANDA — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, has sent a verbal message to President Joao Manuel Goncalves Lourenco of the Republic of Angola, highlighting bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
The Advisor at the Royal Court Ahmad Bin Abdulaziz Qattan delivered the message during a meeting with President Lourenco at the presidential residence in Luanda, the capital of Angola.
Qattan conveyed greetings from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman to the president, government, and people of Angola.
President Lourenco reciprocated the greetings and expressed appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, and the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting focused on reviewing bilateral relations and exploring avenues for further development in various sectors.
Furthermore, President Lourenco affirmed Angola's full support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's request to host Expo 2030 in Riyadh.
He also extended a warm welcome to holding the "First Saudi-African Summit and the Fifth Arab-African Summit" in the Kingdom this year.
Qattan expressed gratitude on behalf of the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the support received, as it reflects the strong and distinguished relations between the two countries. — SPA
