RIYADH — The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GASGI) has announced the production of the official map of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, complete with internationally approved borders.

This official map is now made available to all government agencies, the private sector, academic institutions, individuals, and the media.

The map is accessible in both Arabic and English, and it is offered in various digital formats through the authority's website. Different sizes and purposes for obtaining official maps of the Kingdom can be accommodated.

GASGI emphasizes the importance of government agencies that represent the Kingdom in international organizations, conferences, and forums related to geospatial data.

They are urged to furnish event organizers with up-to-date official maps of the Kingdom. This ensures that international land and sea borders, as well as islands, are accurately depicted.

Additionally, GASGI calls upon government authorities not to publish any maps of the Kingdom on websites, in the media, books, or brochures, whether they are official authorities or other entities, except for the official map of the Kingdom. —SPA
