RIYADH — Turki Al Sheikh, head of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), announced the closure of Riyadh's Boulevard City on Friday evening following a historic record attendance, exceeding 200,000 visitors for the first time in the zone's history.

Al Sheikh apologized to the public, citing the closure as a necessary measure to ensure service quality and visitor comfort.

This event coincided with the mid-year school vacation, providing Riyadh residents and visitors with a perfect opportunity to explore the attractions of the Riyadh Season.

The Riyadh Season, in its fourth edition themed "Big Time," offers a range of entertainment options and global experiences.

It attracts visitors worldwide to Riyadh during the winter months each year, featuring thousands of concerts, exhibitions, and other unique entertainment events.

This season includes participation from a host of celebrities and prominent brands.
