Global exhibitors converge on Makkah to participate in Halal forum for industry innovation

MAKKAH
— The Makkah Halal Forum, under the banner 'Innovation in the Halal Industry', has successfully convened hundreds of international exhibitors. Organized by the Makkah Chamber of Commerce from January 23 to 25, the event featured an exhibition where participants showcased innovative methods of producing halal food products.

Covering a wide range of topics pertinent to the halal industry and its associated sectors, the forum saw active participation from countries such as Azerbaijan, Nigeria, Chad, Indonesia, Turkey, Thailand, Brazil, and Egypt. These nations exhibited a variety of halal food commodities and services, reflecting the diversity and richness of the global halal market.

A key focus among exhibitors was the importance of fostering dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge sharing in the halal industry. They stressed the need to keep abreast of emerging trends and best practices, enhance export capabilities to international markets, achieve self-reliance in halal production, and ensure both the safety of halal food products and the long-term sustainability of the industry.
