Makkah deputy emir visits Prince Khaled Al-Faisal to reassure his health

MAKKAH — Deputy Emir of the Makkah region Prince Saud bin Mishaal visited Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, emir of Makkah and advisor to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, on Friday to reassure his health after undergoing a surgery.

Prince Saud asked God to bestow Prince Khaled Al-Faisal good health and wellness, and to protect him from all evil and harm. He also conveyed the greetings of the people of the region and their sincere prayers for him. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal is convalescing after a successful leg surgery carried out at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Jeddah last month.

Prince Saud listened to the directives of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal aimed at serving the Makkah region and its people. The emir was briefed on the outcomes of the visits of the deputy emir of the region that began last week and included the governorates of Allaith, Qunfudhah, Al-Ardiyat and Adham. Prince Saud also briefed on the meetings that took place as well as the progress of work of a total of 168 development projects, some of them are completed while others are under various phases of implementation.

As per the directives of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, the deputy emir would continue his visits to other governorates of the region, including Taif, Maysan, Turbah, Al-Khurma, Raniyah and Al-Mawiyyah, where he would meet with the people, chairs local council meetings, and inaugurates and lays the foundation stone for a number of projects in these governorates.
