Saudi and Bahraini foreign ministers lead preparatory talks for coordination council

RIYADH
— Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan and his Bahraini counterpart Dr. Abdullatif Al Zayani presided over the preparatory committee meeting for the upcoming third session of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council on Monday.

The meeting served as a platform to assess the progress made by the council and to discuss the developments achieved by its subsidiary committees. The ministers engaged in comprehensive discussions on both bilateral and multilateral coordination, focusing on various matters of mutual interest that underscore the deep-rooted and strategic partnership between the two Gulf nations.

Highlighting the collaborative spirit and the shared goals of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, the session concluded with the official signing of the minutes from the second committee meeting by the heads of the preparatory committee from both countries.

The meeting was attended by several officials.
