RIYADH — Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman and the UK's new Prime Minister Keir Starmer spoke by telephone on Monday.

During the conversation, the Crown Prince congratulated Prime Minister Starmer on his recent appointment. Starmer thanked the Crown Prince for his congratulations and reported on his first days in government.

Moreover, the Crown Prince and the British Prime Minister praised the distinguished relations between their two countries and friendly peoples and discussed their endeavor to enhance and develop them in all fields.

According to a statement from 10 Downing Street, Starmer praised the Crown Prince for his leadership in supporting regional stability in the Middle East and underlined the UK’s enduring commitment to peace and security in the region.

The leaders looked forward to working together to strengthen areas of shared interest, including trade, investment, and defense cooperation.
