SDAIA launches 'Introduction to AI' course for third-year secondary school students

RIYADHThe Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, has launched an educational course titled "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence" for third-year secondary school students.

This was during the Human Capability Initiative (HCI) 2025 conference, as one of the objectives of localizing training content for data and artificial intelligence, which aims to enhance the concepts of artificial intelligence among general education students.

By launching this course, SDAIA aims to empower more than 50,000 male and female students across Saudi Arabia through an interactive learning experience delivered via a digital platform developed specifically for this purpose.

The platform features an innovative teaching approach that combines direct interaction with the content and academic supervision from teachers, with a focus on practical projects for which students are assessed throughout the academic year.

This course aims to provide data-related and predictive capabilities, enhancing them through continuous innovation in the field of artificial intelligence, ensuring Saudi Arabia's advancement to leadership among economies based on information, data, and artificial intelligence.

The IHC-organized conference is a leading global platform that brings together more than 300 speakers, including leaders, policymakers, and global experts from various sectors, from academia, the private sector, and non-profit organizations, through more than 100 dialogue sessions.
