RIYADH — Tawakkalna app, affiliated with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), topped the government platforms in the Digital Experience Maturity Index for 2024 in Saudi Arabia, with a rate of 91.29%.
This is among 39 digital platforms that were evaluated according to 4 main perspectives, under which 20 axes were included: measuring beneficiary satisfaction through the participation of more than 175,000 beneficiaries in evaluating their satisfaction with their digital experience and dealing with their complaints and evaluating the digital technologies and tools that enable these platforms.
The Tawakkalna application comes in line with the Saudi leadership’s directives to harness advanced technologies and enhance digital transformation.
The number of messages sent via the application exceeded 1.2 billion messages, 10 million card reviews, more than 650 million digital wallet reviews, and more than 170 partners in the Tawakkalna application.
This distinction for the Tawakkalna application, the daily companion of users in Saudi Arabia, is part of a series of local and international achievements, including seven awards, of them the United Nations Public Service Award in the category of institutional flexibility and early response, which confirms Saudi Arabia’s superiority in technical fields and the use of data and artificial intelligence technologies.
The application is also one of the most important technical initiatives of SDAIA, which aims to enhance the integration of services between government agencies in Saudi Arabia as a single application that provides more than 315 services benefiting more than 32 million users from Saudi citizens and residents, in addition to its visitors of different nationalities, especially Hajj pilgrims and Umrah performers.
It went through stages of development, before the launch of Tawakkalna app in 2022, after which many basic services were developed, and new services were added to transform it into an integrated platform for government services by 2023, when preparations were made to adopt it as a comprehensive national application with a new identity and design that meets the needs of users.
It provides its services in seven languages and can be accessed in 77 countries. It contains a range of enablers and accelerators to empower the beneficiary government agencies.
The application also enables government agencies to achieve their goals through easy technical connectivity, and diversification of services in various aspects of daily life, including health, education, religion, transportation and entertainment.
