DOHA Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani received Saudi Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary in Doha on Sunday. The reception was attended by Chairman of Qatar Media Corporation Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer Al Thani and Saudi Ambassador to Qatar Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed relations and discussed ways to enhance cooperation, particularly in joint media initiatives.

In a significant move to strengthen media ties, Acting President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Ali Alzaid and Director General of Qatar News Agency Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi signed a framework agreement for cooperation and news exchange between their respective agencies.

The agreement aims to establish training programs in editing and photography, promote modern technology and artificial intelligence in news production, and facilitate the exchange of expertise. It also aims to foster greater collaboration through the exchange of visits and the preparation of news and photographic content highlighting achievements, events, and national occasions in both countries.
