PARIS — Saudi Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah met his French counterpart Rachida Dati in Paris on Wednesday. During the meeting, the two ministers discussed aspects of cooperation and international cultural exchange between Saudi Arabia and France.

The discussions covered a number of cultural fields, most notably museums, libraries, theater and performing arts, culinary arts, heritage, and films. They also reviewed strengthening national cultural partnerships between cultural entities in both countries, aimed at developing and enhancing cultural talents through organizing qualitative training programs and exchanging expertise between the two countries.

The existing partnerships between the Kingdom and France in the cultural aspect and future opportunities for cooperation and cultural exchange as well as practical steps to achieve them were also figured in their talks.

The meeting was attended from the Saudi side by Assistant Minister of Culture Rakan Al-Touq
