— Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan has reaffirmed the Kingdom’s readiness to support Syria’s recovery, emphasizing the importance of expediting measures to lift sanctions against the country.

Speaking at a press conference with his Syrian counterpart Asaad Al-Shaibani, Prince Faisal noted that Saudi Arabia is actively engaged in talks with relevant countries about lifting the sanctions. He also highlighted positive signals received regarding this matter.

Prince Faisal stated that Syria could regain its prominent position as long as Syrians unite, stressing the importance of supporting the country’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.

Additionally, he underscored the necessity of bolstering Syria’s economy, commending recent efforts made by the new Syrian administration.

Prince Faisal expressed confidence in the Syrian people’s ability to navigate this critical phase and achieve lasting success.
