RIYADH — Saudi Grand Mufti and Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars and Permanent Committee for Scientific Research and Ifta Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh congratulated Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman as well as the citizens of Saudi Arabia and Muslims across the world on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.

He implored God Almighty to render this holy month a period of goodness, blessings, glory, and empowerment, and to grant its return to the Islamic Ummah in a state of security, faith, stability, and prosperity.

The Grand Mufti emphasized that the attainment of the month of Ramadan is a profound divine blessing, necessitating sincere gratitude to God. He described Ramadan as a season of devoted obedience, a period of multiplied rewards, and a propitious opportunity to renew one's covenant with God through genuine repentance and a steadfast return to His path.
