MADINAH — The stunning lighting across the Prophet’s Mosque, its courtyards, and associated facilities captivates worshippers and visitors with its harmonious distribution, vibrant colors, and intricate designs.
The diverse range of lighting fixtures, varying in shape, size, and power, enhances the mosque's spiritual and architectural ambiance.
The mosque features more than 30 distinct types of lighting, contributing to its unique identity, with a total of 80,419 lighting units.
Among the most prominent are chandeliers of various sizes, numbering approximately 300 in the old prayer hall.
Additionally, 10,546 lighting units bearing the inscription of "Allah" adorn the upper corners of the architectural arches within the mosque and its corridors, adding to the serene and sacred atmosphere.
