RIYADH — Saudi Arabia condemned on Monday the new Israeli move to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed condemnation of Israeli occupation authorities’ announcement about the establishment of an agency that aims to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, as well as its approval of the separation of 13 illegal settlement neighborhoods in the West Bank in preparation for legitimizing them as colonial settlements.
Saudi Arabia reiterated its firm rejection of Israel’s continuous violations of international law and international humanitarian law.
In a statement, the ministry affirmed that lasting and just peace cannot be achieved without the Palestinian people obtaining their legitimate rights in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
