Saudi FM and UN Chief discuss over phone preparations for international conference on Palestine

RIYADH — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan held a phone call on Thursday with the United Nations Secretary General António Guterres.

During the call, they reviewed the ongoing preparations for the high-level international conference for the peaceful settlement of the question of Palestine and the implementation of the two-state solution. They also discussed the latest regional and international developments.

Saudi Arabia and France will co-host the conference which will be held at the United Nations headquarters in New York city on June 17 – 20. French President Emmanuel Macron announced earlier that he and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will co-chair the conference.
