MADINAH —
The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque announced on Thursday that the total number of worshippers at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah during the 1446 Hajj season exceeded 40 million.

According to official statistics, a cumulative total of 40,103,344 worshippers prayed at the mosque between Dhul Qadah 1 and Dhul Hijjah 29, 1446 AH.

The authority attributed the high turnout to the integrated services and coordination between various agencies, which ensured that visitors were able to perform their rituals in a secure and peaceful environment.

It also reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of services inside the mosque and its courtyards, aiming to meet the needs of worshippers and pilgrims from around the world and to elevate their spiritual experience.
