Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — The Saudi Geological Survey (SGS) has denied occurring any earthquake in the Tabuk region on Thursday morning. Tariq Aba Al-Khail, spokesman of SGS, said that the National Center for Earthquakes and Volcanoes under SGS did not detect any earthquake in the region. His reaction came following circulation of reports about hitting an earthquake in Tabuk on social media. According to social media, some residents felt earthquake in the region, a claim denied Aba Al-Khail. It is noteworthy that the National Center for Earthquakes and Volcanoes monitors various natural phenomena around the clock through 270 seismic monitoring stations located all over the Kingdom.
