RIYADH — Air defenses intercepted and destroyed a hostile drone in the Riyadh region, Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen spokesperson Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki announced Saturday.

Al-Maliki said debris from the interception fell in the area, with no injuries reported.

He added that the relevant authorities were responding to the site.
