Assila Investments, led by its CEO Abdullah Alissa, announced the completion of the enabling work phase of the Kempinski Hotel and Residences in Jeddah.

The 65-story tower, located on the Corniche Road, is being developed by AMIAS Real Estate. It was designed by New York-based architects Perkins + Will.

The project consists of a tower that houses the 242-room Kempinski Hotel and the 122-luxury apartment Kempinski Residences.

Furthermore, the project includes a seven-story podium, a fitness center and spa, multiple restaurants, a children’s club, numerous lounges, a large swimming pool and three levels of underground parking.

Enabling work comprised piling, shoring and excavation, including all related underground works, for the foundation structure of the tower. The deep excavation of the three basements right by the Red Sea was a complex undertaking.

The enabling work has been executed by Trevi Arabian Soil Contractor, linked to Trevi Group, the worldwide leader in the field of soil engineering.

To achieve the requested target, state-of-the-art equipment and techniques have been employed.

Assila Investments is very close to awarding the general contract and expects the work on the superstructure to commence sometime in the next two months.
