120 complaints of impiety in six months

Courts in various parts of the Kingdom have looked into a total of 120 impiety cases filed by parents against their own sons and daughters during the first half of the current Hijri year, the Ministry of Justice announced.

RIYADH — Courts in various parts of the Kingdom have looked into a total of 120 impiety cases filed by parents against their own sons and daughters during the first half of the current Hijri year, the Ministry of Justice announced. It said in a statistical report on Thursday that Riyadh, with 18 cases (21.6 percent), tops other cities followed by Jeddah, which had 11 cases (13.2 percent). There were nine cases in Khamis Mushayt and six each in Dammam, Taif, Makkah, Abha and Najran.
