Bruna, from Tanning Salon in Dubai said eyelash extensions are the perfect options for that special occasion, or for a more day-to-day wear. She said they offer different styles of extensions: “The Classic, which is perfect for an all naturally fresh, everyday look - the ideal option for busy women. The Glamorous is for those who want to amplify the allure factor, for a fuller and more noticeable look. The Cat Eye, comprises of elegantly placed clusters of lashes on the outer corners of your eyes.” The process can take from thirty minutes up to an hour.  You must avoid contact with water, oily products, creams, makeup remover and even mascaras.



“It makes really confident and care-free. I walk out everyday feeling great about myself. I don’t even need any make up anymore. It really does give you a lot of self-confidence,” said Lara Maktoub, a beauty expert living in Jeddah.



The professional technique involves applying a synthetic eyelash onto the natural lash, without any contact with the skin which does not harm the natural lashes. The various types of lashes as well as application techniques are tailored for the shape of your eyes, face-cut and the desired effect. Many of those who are comfortable with applying (and removing) false lashes everyday get to experiment more and switch between day and night. But getting them on temporarily, makes you adapt to a very natural look you get used to living with. The application fills in that eye line and makes the eyes pop.
