A casa truly fit for The Kingdom, Nando’s has opened the doors to its biggest restaurant in the world on Thalia Street, in the heart of Riyadh. Turning up the heat, the flagship location is bringing PERi-PERi to the people, serving up its famous Afro-Portuguese style, flame-grilled chicken, with a side of cheeky personality and eclectic service style.

The 2016 introduction of Nando’s in Saudi Arabia saw the Rubeen Plaza casa, Riyadh, recognized as the most successful market entry in the 30 years of brand history. With such a flaming-good result, and so much love shown for the delicious PERi-PERi flavor, Nando’s is fired up to expand its footprint in KSA, bringing the people of Riyadh the greatest experience yet with the introduction of the Tahlia Street casa, fit for The Kingdom.

With over 90 Nandocas (or staff members, to us civilians), the 818 sqm, 302 seat, multi-story Tahlia Street restaurant is beautifully decorated with close to 50 unique works of art, earthy textures and vibrant colors, reflective of its Afro-Portuguese heritage. A signature Nando’s casa, and the largest ever built, the dynamic, handpainted shopfront uses traditional African-influenced patterns combined with hand-carved clay designs, transporting the customer to the cultural roots of the brand upon entry. A dedicated family area offers and element of privacy on the upper level, with the main dining area downstairs providing an open, social experience.
