JEDDAH – It is the usual habit of Khaled Saffouri, who claims to be a close friend of the Saudi writer Jamal Khashoggi, to spread false information to the media in general and the Western media in particular.

This time he focused on the disappearance of Khashoggi.

The American writer Paul Patrick, a specialist on national security affairs and terror, confirmed on the PJ Media website that Saudi Arabia is facing regional and international forces that are misleading the media and providing them false information.

Paul Patrick reminds readers that Khaled Saffouri has close ties with Abdulrahman Al-Amoudi, one of the supporters of Al-Qaeda who is now under detention by the US authorities. He was also involved in a plot to assassinate the late King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz when he was Crown Prince.

The American writer expressed astonishment at many American media that took the bait and believed the unknown sources.

The writer concluded that the only party feeding the media reports on the Khashoggi issue is the same source that was linked to the conspiracy to assassinate the late King Abdullah.
