Riyadh to host first Islamic Art Biennale: Prince Badr

RIYADH Prince Badr Bin Abdullah Bin Farhan, minister of culture and chairman of the National Commission for Education, Science and Culture, has congratulated the Islamic countries on UNESCO's adoption of a resolution to declare Nov. 18 as International Day of Islamic Art.

Prince Badr announced that Riyadh will host the first Biennale of Islamic Art at the Islamic Museum.

The Biennale will be held by the Ministry of Culture in cooperation with the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO). -- SPA
