TABUK — A Saudi medical evacuation aircraft is expected to land at Portland, Oregon, Friday to airlift Basma Al-Enzi, a Saudi scholarship student who has been in Providence Hospital in the city for more than two weeks with brain damage after a severe asthma attack. Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, second deputy premier and minister of defense, ordered a medical team and aircraft to the US to bring Basma back so she can be treated at King Khalid Hospital in Hail, her home town. Hani Al-Enzi, the woman’s husband, thanked the prince for his noble gesture and said the Saudi Embassy in Washington would sue the hospital for threatening to disconnect the life support system from his wife if he did not transfer her immediately.
