Diriyah League semis lineup set

Rustam Ali RIYADH — Seham, Kashmir XI, Naz and Detecon Eagles qualified for the semifinals of Diriyah League in the SCC Cup 2016. The T20 tournament is organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC). In Al-Kharaj League, thanks to a brilliant all-round show from Nadeem Babar, King Faisal Blues thumped Lahore Lions by 8 wickets. Lahore Lions was bundled out for 144. Muzaffar (32) and Waseem (31) put up some resistance. Iftikhar clinched 3 wickets with his spin. Experienced Nadeem Babar and Abdul Malik claimed 2 wickets each. KFSH Blues reached the target in 15.3 overs. Nadeem Babar then scored a classy 67, while Waseem continued his dominance in batting with 57 off 23 balls. Pak Shaheen defeated Amer Holidays by 6 wickets. Batting first, Amer Holidays posted 192 for 5. Kamran smashed 51 not out, Irfan 36 and Shams 22. Abuzar picked up 2 wickets. In reply, Pak Shaheen chased the target in 18.3 overs. Faisal hit 50, Ibrar 48, Abdul Waheed 34 and Asad 32 to ensure a comfortable win. Samiullah and Saeed grabbed 2 wickets each. In Diriyah League quarterfinals, Seham thrashed Bannu Eagles by 4 wickets. Bannu Eagles piled up 174. Sadaqat top scored with 37. Qayyom and Anwar batted well down the order to score 20 and 21, respectively. Asif bowled with discipline and claimed 4 wickets. Tehseen took 2. Seham chased down the target in 19.5 overs. Nassir’s 67 off 43 ball led Seham to a thrilling victory on the penultimate ball. Naveed stroked 41 and Kareem 25. Arshid took 3 wickets and Ruman 2. Nasir earned the Man-of-the-Match award. Youngsters XI crushed by Kashmir XI by 47 runs. Kashmir XI collected 211 as Majid blasted 85 off 39 balls. Aarif and Amir helped the cause with 30 and 29, respectively. Abdul Raheem picked up 3 wickets. Youngsters XI was restricted to 164, in reply. Abdul Rehman remained unbeaten on 52, while the rest of the batting lineup failed to spark. Showkat collected 3 wickets. Naz downed Professional Creation by 8 wickets. Fenil hit 38, Faizullah 34, Guhan 25 and Ranjith 24 to help Professional Creation post 175 for 9. Atif and Irfan bagged 2 wickets each. Afzal (68) and Atif (41) batted brilliantly to take their team home in 16.1 overs. Fenil picked up 2 wickets. Afzal was declared the Man of the Match. Al-Harbi lost to Detecon Eagles by 5 wickets. Al-Harbi posted 194. Arshad smashed 50, Hanif 40 and Aftab 20. Khurram and Rizwan scalped 2 wickets each. Detecon Eagles won the match in 19 overs. Openers Rizwan and Rana played extremely well to provide a solid start with 88 and 50 runs respectively. Despite a middle order collapse, Detecon won comfortably in 19 overs. Salman grabbed 3 wickets. Rizwan was adjudged the Man of the Match.
