ResizeAFTER spending a long time in one organization where you do not have real development opportunities or promotion, you will no doubt feel depressed and anxious and begin asking yourself why this is happening to you. You may look for reasons to explain your miserable situation. Perhaps you will say that no one guided you, you didn’t have enough time, the workplace politics were terrible or that life itself is just not fair. There are many such excuses, but the answer actually is that it depends on how you look at the situation and what you see in your career path.
To overcome this situation, start to look at the real problem and stop blaming others as if they were the only ones responsible for your development and your happiness. It is not a matter of whether or not you have a half empty glass or a half full glass. The point is that you still have a glass! What you need to do is to start to fill it with zeal and enthusiasm.
Erase your limits by seeing what is special in you, look for your strength and qualities regardless of what your co-workers or line manager may think about you. Your organization is not the only one in the market and you can improve your knowledge and skills by many means. Learning and development does not happen only in the classroom.
