Saudi Gazette report

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia has rejected the Israeli plan to evict Palestinians from their homes in Jerusalem and impose Israeli sovereignty over them.

In a statement on early Saturday, the Saudi foreign ministry said that the Kingdom condemns all unilateral measures, violations of international resolutions, and everything that may undermine the chances of resuming the peace process to achieve security and stability in the region.

The foreign ministry reiterated that the Kingdom stands with the Palestinians, and supports all efforts aimed at reaching a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, which will enable the Palestinians to establish their independent homeland on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
