Mauritanian president congratulates King, Crown Prince on the success of Jeddah Summit

NOUAKCHOTT — Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani congratulated Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman on the success of the Jeddah Security and Development Summit.

In a cable sent to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, he said: "The success of this summit confirms once again the leading role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in achieving development in the region and the world, and we hope that this summit will establish an era of stability and prosperity in the region and establish peace in the world."

The Mauritanian president added, "As I hope for the brotherly Saudi people's continued progress and prosperity under your wise leadership, I renew our sincere keenness to deepen and strengthen the bilateral relations and mutual respect that bind our two countries and peoples."

He also congratulated Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense, on the success of the Jeddah Security and Development Summit, adding, in a cable sent to the Crown Prince, "This summit has reaffirmed the leading position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in drawing security and development policies in the region and the world, and its brilliant success will contribute to supporting security, stability, and development in the Middle East and the whole world".

He added: While I salute the initiative; Saudi Green and Middle East Green initiatives, which emanate from the wise forward-looking vision of the Kingdom’s leadership, I renew to Your Highness our constant support and standing by the Kingdom’s side, and we always look forward to working with you to develop our cooperation and bilateral ties that unite our two countries and peoples". — SPA
