DOHA — Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani has received Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Bin Fadhil Al Ibrahim on the sidelines of the Fifth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5), which is being held in Doha, Qatar.
The minister is heading the Saudi Arabia’s delegation that is taking part in the conference, and will deliver the Kingdom’s speech at the conference.
The delegation includes representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen (SPDRY), and King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).
The Kingdom’s delegation will participate in a number of plenary sessions and high-level meetings, and will host three side events throughout the conference.
Al Ibrahim will hold meetings with senior officials to discuss areas of cooperation to promote economic development in the least developed countries.
Al-Hogail, Al-Subaie discuss
cooperation in housing sector
During a two-day official visit to the State of Qatar, Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing Majid Bin Abdullah Al-Hogail met today with the Qatari Minister of Municipality Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al-Subaie.
During the meeting, they exchanged views about enhancing joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the municipal and housing sectors, and the importance of exchanging experiences and expertise between the two sides in order to achieve their common interests.
The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador Prince Mansour Bin Khalid Bin Farhan. — SPA
